“One Body”
1 Corinthians 12:19-20, 27
If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
We all have our place in the body of Jesus Christ. It doesn’t make any difference who you are, what color you are, or how much money you have or don’t have or what your name is, we “all” have our place in the body of Christ. Everyone is the same at the foot of the Cross. There are no little I’s or big you’s. There are no nobodies. Our whole physical body needs our big toes and our little toes. Things are the same in the body of Christ. I read a little article by Charles Swindoll the other day and let me quote, he said, “Nobodies. What a necessary band of men and women…servants of the King…yet nameless in the kingdom! Men and women who, with silent heroism and faithful diligence, relinquish the limelight and live in the shade of public figures.” To this I say, AMEN and AMEN again and again. Praise God we are a part of the body of Christ. Just think of all the “nobodies” in His body. They make the Kingdom run. To all of you who think you are a “nobody” in His kingdom-----think again!!!!!
Say: Most Holy Precious Jesus, with thanksgiving, I come to You, I am willing to follow Your plan for my life. I am willing to do what You would have me to do, great or small. Keep me humble and full of love and compassion for others. Show me my place in Your Kingdom Work. Amen

Lord Save Me
“Lord Save Me”
Psalms 7:1-2
O Lord my God, in You I put my trust; Save me from all those who persecute me; And deliver me, Lest they tear me like a lion, Rending me in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
Boy, you think you got trouble!! David and his mighty men ran from Saul. David put his trust in God Almighty, not in the arm of flesh. David compared Saul to a lion that would tear him to shreds. Basically, David said, “Lord, if you don’t hurry up and deliver me, there isn’t going to be any part of me TO deliver.” The one thing I like about David is: He always kept getting up. It didn’t matter what Saul did to him or promised to do to him, David prayed about the situation, praised God and kept on going. He may have had some hard situations and at times disobeyed God, but in the end David knew Who to trust. Have you ever felt like someone has torn you into pieces? Let your situation push you to running to Jesus as fast as you can. The evil things others do to us should drive us to God. Allow Him to renew and revive you, TODAY!
Say: My Lord and Savior, thank You for coming to my rescue. Your praise will continually be in my mouth. Hide me behind Your Cross. Amen.

Substitutions
“Substitutions”
Daniel 3:16
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said… “Be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods.”
We use sugar substitute, generic meds, as compared to…cosmetics, perfumes, food, pop, butter…etc. When it comes to the “real thing” we look at the all mighty dollar first. If it looks like, smells like or tastes like the “real thing” we will pick the cheaper every time. On some things we have the tendency to settle. There is one thing we, under no circumstances should we settle for less than the “real thing”. We should never, never, never settle for another god, no matter what. Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, is the One. He is the One True and Living God. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, there is no substitute. We must not serve any other thing or person, but Him. He is the Creator and was here from the beginning of time and before that. God has always been. He is the Great I AM. Do you put anything or any person in God’s place?
Today purpose in your heart to keep Jesus the center of your life and don’t settle for less or for another god. There is eternity to think about.

"The Light"
“The Light”
Psalms 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
What is it “feed a cold and starve a fever”, or is it “starve a cold and feed a fever?” I don’t know. I do know if you don’t read and study the Bible, you will starve your soul. You know starvation doesn’t happen over night. It happens gradually. You go a day or two without and all of a sudden, you are in the starvation mode. Then you say to yourself, “I will read the Word tomorrow. I am too tired right now.” Pretty soon you are in the “dark” instead of the “Light” and don’t have a clue how you got there. Things start on a domino effect. They just seem to get on a roll. You go to bed and pray, “Lord, I don’t know what has happened, things are not so good, what am I going to do?” He says, “Child come back to me, remember when I wooed and compelled you to get back into my light? Now is the time, let Me be the lamp to your feet and the light to your path.” Jesus loves us so much. His Word is one of the most powerful ways He communicates with us.
Today “Catch The Fever”---Read the Bible, get into the Word of God!!!!

"The Intent Of The Heart"
“The Intent Of The Heart”
Psalms 19:14
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight oh, Lord my strength and my Redeemer.
I can assure you, what ever is in your heart WILL come out of your mouth. What comes out of our hearts should be for the glory of God and the edification of others. We can ask ourselves this question, Is this acceptable in the sight of our God? Of, course we have all said things we wish we could take back. We have all said that last hasty word or remark. I have said to myself, “why did I say that!” It was said to me like this one time. “Words are like toothpaste---once it is out you can never put it back in the tube.” But, praise the Lord, we do have an advocate. The Lord Jesus Christ will come to our rescue if we go to Him and ask forgiveness. We can also go to the person and say, “I am sorry.” The Lords Prayer says if we don’t forgive---we won’t be forgiven. (Matthew 6:9-13) When we have done all we can do to stand for the Lord---then we continue to stand. What’s in your heart?
Today let us go to the Lord in prayer and pray Psalms 19:14 as it is your own personal prayer.

"What If"
“What If”
Matthew 6:34
Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and can’t sleep. Try as I may, sleep does not come. I toss and turn, squirm and sweat and watch the clock. My mind goes to the “what if’s” about tomorrow or next week. It doesn’t matter what day, all I can think about is what I am worried about for the future. Am I the only one who does this? I think not! Maybe you worry about your children, other family members or future events. The Bible says not to worry. We should pray instead. Of course, you and I know this, but, NO, being human---we worry. Jesus said what we have committed to Him, He is able to keep unto that day. Did you know that along with tomorrow’s troubles Jesus also gives daily strength and supply? Have you committed all of your worries to Him? When you wake up in the middle of the night, try prayer first. Pray with a thankful attitude. You will be surprised how much more rest and sleep you will get. Most of the time what you are most worried about never takes place. Let tomorrow take care of it’s self. Only prayer can change it anyway. Jesus is the only one that can do anything about today or tomorrow. He is the same---always!
Today look at all your worries and assess them. Give them over to Jesus. Let all burdens roll over on Him. When we share them with Jesus the burdens lighten up and they transfer from worry---to trust. Trust in Him.

A Blast From The Word

“Christians”
Acts 11:26
…………..And the disciples were first called Christians at Antioch.
I have heard my Mother say a million times, “Boy, you could never deny that kid, he looks just like you.” It is always such an honor for our own children to favor us. I love to hear someone tell me that even my grandkids look like me. We all favor someone in our looks. Who do we favor in our actions and deeds? In the previous verses Barnabas was described as a good man full of the Holy Ghost and faith. Wonder who his actions and deeds looked like? The meaning for Christian is: having the spirit or qualities of Christ. To be Christ like. When I say “I am a Christian” it means a lot. It’s who I am. It’s what I breath, what I eat, what I sleep with and what I wake up with. In Him I live and breathe and move and have my being. Praise His name; we are made in the image of Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God!!
Today take a look in the mirror and then take a look in the Living Word and see just who you look. Do you look like yourself or do you favor Jesus?

"Holy Spirit"
"Holy Spirit"
Acts 7:55 But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.
Stephen is the first martyr of the Christian Church. Stephen had told others about Jesus numerous times. Each time he repeated what he knew about Jesus and His love and forgiveness, and His Salvation, the more upset the Jewish people became. They wanted to follow the Law and could not bear to hear anything contrary to the Law. The Jewish people became so angry that they wanted to kill Stephen and kill him they did. Nothing else mattered to Stephen but Christ; people could throw rocks at him, bite him, scream and holler, it just didn't matter. He would tell the wonderful story of Jesus everywhere he went and nothing short of death would stop him. What Stephen did in his last minutes before he was stoned should be always in our memory. Here the people were stoning him to death and yet Stephen was able to look all the way past them and how they treated him to the Glory of God and see Jesus setting at His right hand. Stephen allowed the Holy Spirit to lead him all the way to heaven. Where will you allow the Holy Spirit to lead you???
Say: Holy Spirit lead me here in this life and all the way to Heaven. Amen

"Seed Sowing"
A Blast From The Word
By Sandra Rhynes
“Seed Sowing”
James 3:18
Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
Have you ever planted green bean seeds and when those tiny little plants appeared they were squash? Of course not! You reap what you sow right? Right. What do you plant in your garden of life? Here are some things you can plant and some things you shouldn’t.
1. Gossip or Truth and Wisdom
2. Hate or Love
3. Meanness or Kindness
4. Sadness or Joy
5. Strife or Peace
6. Short of Patience or Longsuffering
7. Roughness or Gentleness
8. Bad Spirit or Goodness
9. Doubt or Faith
10. A Strong Will or Meekness
11. Excessiveness or Temperance
You know, it doesn’t matter where you are: school, work, vacation, (nobody knows you on vacation, right?) or at home, you still reap what you sow.
Say: Jesus, my Loving Savior, instill in me your precepts and values. Help me to set Your example everywhere I go and with everyone I meet. Thank You, Lord for your Loving Kindness, which is better than life itself. Amen

Psalms 40:8
I delight to do Your will, Oh my God, and Your law is within my heart.
“Surrender”
We have this little lady in our office. She is so perky and happy; loves the Lord. She just beams with life. The Holy Spirit oozes out of every pore. She can work circles around all of us---and does. Deep in my own thoughts I ask the Lord, “Lord where does she get all of that energy? How come she is so happy ALL the time? She must not have any problems. What is it Lord? I so want THAT.” All of a sudden her cell phone rings---The ring tone? That wonderful old time Christian song--- “I Surrender All” comes bellowing in the air to my ears.
I surrender all
I surrender all
All to Thee my Blessed Savior
I surrender all.
Praise The Lord!!!
Say: Thank You, Father for Your loving kindness. Make me a blessing to others around me. I want others to see You in me. Help me to show Your loving kindness. Amen

"Who Can Find Her"
A Blast From The Word
By Sandra Rhynes
Proverbs 31:10
Proverbs 31:30-31
“Who Can Find Her?”
A wife of noble character, who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
Have you looked at the price of rubies lately? Man, they are expensive! Ladies, young and old, listen up! You are honored with a day all your own, and deservedly so! In days gone by, people used to describe women as the “chief cook and bottle washer.” Now days a woman wears many hats, she doesn’t just cook and wash dishes. Sometimes she also brings home the bacon. Sometimes she is raising her children all alone AND bringing home the bacon. What are the hats that you wear? The Bible says that a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Do your hats get heavy from time to time? Turn to Jesus; take it one day at a time. Ask Him for a lot of wisdom, an overflowing bucket of love, a bunch of understanding and patience and then treat yourself to a nice long bubble bath!
Say: Thank You, Father for me being a woman. I praise and worship You. When my life gets too busy and loaded, show me the way to slow down and be calm. Thank You for all of Your blessings and Thank You for this special Mother’s Day. Let me rejoice and be glad in it. I raise up and call the Women in my life blessed. Amen

By Sandra Rhynes
“Keeps Watch”
Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
Wow! What a promise! We can take this promise up close and personal. This is spoken directly to us. Jesus is our very present help in the time of need. He will not fail us. He will help us. We have nothing to fear from our God. Fear is the opposite of love. The Lord keeps watch over us; He does not sleep or nap or get busy with other things and forget about us. Jesus is not only just in calling distance---He is present with us---always---not sometimes---always---always---always. And again I say, always. So what ever we go through, or feel, or see, or think we know about any situation we are in, just remember HE KEEPS WATCH.
Say: Thank You, Lord for keeping watch when I am asleep or awake. I will trust You until I draw my very last breath. I trust You completely. I trust You with my life, my family’s life and in all situations. Amen

“Celebrate”
Luke 15:23
…and bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat and celebrate; 24 for this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.' And they began to celebrate.
Have you ever been sooooo glad to see someone that you haven’t seen in a long time? You might cook a special dinner or throw a party and invite other friends into your home to help you celebrate. You might even have your delightful celebration put in the newspaper or of course you would tell others how wonderful it was to see your long lost friend or loved one. Is it going to be a celebration for you when you meet Jesus face to face or do you dread the meeting? Are you just beside yourself with anticipation at seeing Him? How are you going to prepare for this celebration? The father in this scripture went all out to make sure his son knew how much he was loved and missed him. Jesus is preparing for the greatest celebration of all. He is preparing a wedding table for us all. He wants us to know how much He loves us. We will be forever be in celebration with Him. The lost son prepared to meet his father by deciding to go home. The father prepared to meet the son by running to meet him from a far off. Then he prepared him a feast like he had never seen before. How will you prepare to meet the King? Will you watch and pray? Will you live your life being about the Father’s Business? Will you tell others about His love and grace? Let us be preparing for “The Greatest Celebration” of all times!! Let us celebrate here on earth until that day comes! The bible tells us to celebrate with songs and hymns. When we enter into the sanctuary we should come in with praise, songs and above all CELEBRATION!! Celebrate Jesus, Celebrate!!!!!
Say: Jesus, I celebrate You. You and you alone are worthy to be praised and worshiped. I long for that Great Celebration that will never end. I long to see You face to face and to cast my crowns at Your feet. I long to be at that wedding table. I Love You Lord. I long to hear “Well done thou good and faithful servant, enter in.” Amen

"Unexpected Miracles"
A Blast From The Word
By Sandra Rhynes
“Unexpected Miracles”
1 John 3:1
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!........
While visiting a local nursing home this week, I was privileged to hear and witness the sweetest song ever uttered. One precious little lady was sitting on one couch, her hair was white and she was slumped over so that you could not see all of her and she was dressed in a pink Snuggy. Another little lady was sitting on the other couch and two more little ladies were roaming around in their wheel chairs. A visitor came in the door and sat down with this particular little lady and ask her if she was ready to sing. Then she began singing Beulah Land. This little lady chimed in with the clearest harmony voice I had ever heard. Turning around I looked straight into the brightest most content eyes I had not seen in a long time. The visitor ask her what else she would like to sing. By now I was clapping and telling her what a wonderful voice she had. She said, “Well, I don’t sing as good as I used too.” She looked down thinking about her song she wanted to pick. All of a sudden she looked up and looked straight into my eyes and smiled. She started to sing, “There’s a land that is fairer than day. And by faith we can see it afar, for the Father waits over the way, To prepare us a dwelling place there.” With all that was within me and with tears streaming down my face, I thanked her. I felt like I had just looked into the face of Jesus. So moved and so thankful to the Dear Lord I had received this blessing. I knew this was a divine meeting of the souls put together by God Himself. I was soooooo changed and will never forget. It was like she new this “land fairer than day” was just around the corner.
Say: Dear Lord, of Heaven and Earth, I thank You for Your many blessings above and beyond my needs. Thank You for the little blessing that are really miracles. I praise and worship You. Forgive me when I don’t trust and serve You the way I should. Make me a blessing to others. Amen

"Son Of Mary"
A Blast From The Word
By Sandra Rhynes
“Son of Mary”
Mark 6:3
Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us? And the were offended at Him.
They couldn’t get their heads around Jesus being Mary’s Son and yet, still coming down from heaven. To the Jews He was just a carpenter, the Son of Mary. Jesus’ family lived in such a lowly way of life. You just didn’t put carpenters or tanners or butchers in a position of King. The people couldn’t believe He was the Messiah. He was only a carpenter and the Son of Mary, brother of James. The people were offended with the attitude of “who does He think He is” Let me tell you who He is. He is the Christ the Son of the Living God. The One who was born in a manger of the sweet virgin Mary, raised as a lowly carpenter, beaten, bruised, and with a crown of thorns on His head was crucified on the cross for you and me and arose on the third day and STILL HE LIVES and HE LIVES FOREVERMORE!!!!!! Happy Easter!!!!
Say: Thank You Father for spilling Your precious blood for me. Thank You for going to the Cross willingly. I am so glad that I serve a Living God. Thank You for Your Word, and Your mercy and Your grace. I love You. Amen

"All The Good"
A Blast From The Word
By Sandra Rhynes
“All The Good”
Matthew 7:12
12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
Let me rephrase this verse so you will recognize it. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I believe this is the Golden Rule. When I was growing up we lived by this. We were to treat other children like we wanted to be treated. If we wanted others to treat us with kindness—we treated them kind—if we wanted to be treated with love—we treated others with love. You know when you plant watermelon seeds; you reap a harvest of watermelons. Don’t let satan fool you into not caring about how you treat others. See others through Jesus’ eyes. It is NOT every man for himself. We are here to help others and to see to it that everyone we come in contact with has the opportunity to have salvation through Christ Jesus the Son of The Living God and to have the Blessed Hope of Heaven. Turn your thinking around, you know, Jesus may come today!
Say: Lord of all, I want to treat others with Your love. I want to take everyone I can to Heaven with me. Give me the wisdom and the words to say to win others to You. Thank You Father, for Your love, mercy and grace. Help me to show others your Grace. Amen
Quote For The Day:
Do all the good you can, By all the means you can, In all the ways you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as ever you can.

"The Good Stuff"
A Blast From The Word
By Sandra Rhynes
“The Good Stuff”
Psalms 119:11
Your word I have hidden in my heart that I might sin against You.
What do you have hidden in your heart? Is the Living Word of God hidden in there so you won’t sin against the One True and Living God? David laid up God’s Word in his heart to use when he needed it. David highly valued God’s Word. He was afraid of losing or being robbed of his wonderful Treasure he had found. David knew if he kept this Treasure just in his home, then it could be stolen. If he kept it as just head knowledge, then it could be forgotten. But, when you keep it in your heart and soul, then you can come against sin head on without fear. You can do as Christ did when He faced the devil…...”It is written…..Ole satan CAN NOT stand up to the Living Word. Quoting the Bible will make him flee. David knew what to do in any situation. He sought the “Good Stuff”. He went straight to the Lord. Be wise and memorize!
Say: Heavenly Father, You are the God of the universe. I praise You with a whole heart. Keep me hungry for Your Word. I want to devour Your Word in my heart. I will memorize Your Word and tell satan to flee in Your Name. Amen

"My Beloved"
A Blast From The Word
By Sandra Rhynes
“My Beloved”
Song of Solomon 6:3
I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine:
The relationship is mutual. The knot is tied. Jesus is yours and you are His. No one can take you from His hand. Our communication with the Lord keeps up our relationship with Him. We can’t possibly know Him and what He wants us to do and be without this communication. We must pray and read His Word and allow Him to speak to us. Not just once a week or once a month, but daily. We set aside time daily to spend with Jesus. It is a choice, we choose to spend time-out of our busy schedule-to talk to Him. Can you call Jesus your beloved? Is He on your mind when you arise in the morning and when you lay your head down on your pillow at night? Make this your mission and your heart’s desire today. When you call someone “your beloved” it takes on a whole new meaning.
Say: I am your beloved, Lord and You are mine. Help me to show it. I will choose to seek Your face daily. I will choose to read Your Word daily. I will choose to be Your Beloved. Amen

"The One Two Punch"
A Blast From The Word
By Sandra Rhynes
“The One Two Punch”
Mark 12:30-31
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. 31. And the second, like it, is this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” There is no other commandment greater than these.
Wow! These are pretty strong words. Love is the leading affection of the heart, soul, mind and strength. First of all without love, nothing that is good is done, or done right. The greatest of these is Love. The heart, soul, mind and strength are all connected. If you love, really love, with one of these-then all of these areas love. Then, the Golden Rule comes into effect. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. We are of the same “body” “Christ’s Body” He loves us all the same. We are to love our neighbor the same way as He loves us and gave His life for US ALL……… Soooooo
Love God
Love you neighbor as yourself
That’s It---period
Say. I love You Lord. Without Your Love, I can’t love others in the right way. Help me to love Your other children as You love me. Fill me with Your love. Amen

"Comfort Zone"
“Comfort Zone”
1Thessalonians 4:18
Therefore comfort one another with these words.
Think of the last time you were truly uncomfortable. Was the weather so hot you couldn’t stand it or were you so cold you couldn’t think? Maybe you did something that made you uncomfortable or you were in the presence of someone that made you uncomfortable or the clothes you had on that day were to tight or too loose and you were uncomfortable. So many things can make us feel that way. The last time I was uncomfortable was the time it snowed about 4 to 5 inches and before the snow came sleet and we had a thin layer of ice covering everything. We couldn’t get off of work early and the snow was coming down swiftly. First of all I was very uncomfortable walking from the building to my pickup. I thought I would be in the horizontal position before reaching my destination. Of course the windshield and all surrounding windows and mirrors were covered and all I had to scrape that stuff off with was a little, short, plastic scraper. I do not drive in the snow because of the obvious and I am sure not tall enough or strong enough to scrape the windshield. Climbing upon the running boards, scrape I did. Cold and wet and with the hood of my coat over my head (I looked like a monk) and making one small stop at the store for milk, I was finally and very slowly on my way home. Wanting soooo badly to be home, I was miserably uncomfortable.
While reading my Bible in the A.M. this verse jumped off of the pages. Comfort one another. Of course the comforting words we are to speak to one another are found in 1Thess. 4:16-17. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel and the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. AND THUS WE SHALL ALWAYS BE WITH THE LORD!!!!! AMEN
SAY: I will forever be with the Lord!

"Celebration Of Love"
A Blast From The Word
By Sandra Rhynes
“Celebration Of Love”
John 15:13
Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
Can you imagine? I can hardly think about what it takes to lay down my life for another person. But, Jesus did it. This is love in the highest degree. No one took it from Him. He gave His life up freely. He physically climbed on that cross and allowed the soldiers to pound spikes into his hands. He physically allowed them to push a crown of thorns on His head. Can you shut your eyes and see it? No other person on this earth, in the heavens or under this earth, living or dead, or in any other universe did this supreme act of love, only Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God. Happy Valentines Day!

"One Heart-One Soul"
A Blast From The Word
By Sandra Rhynes
“One Heart- One Soul”
Ephesians 4:2-3
2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, 3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Only by pride, comes contention, only by humility comes love; the seat of Christian unity is in heart or spirit. It does not lie in one set of thoughts or in one mode of worship, but in one heart and one soul. We must do our best to keep unity and peace. Peace is a bond that unites God’s people. The apostle here urges us to be in the bond of peace for the Joy and Glory of God and of our Christian profession.
Lord and Savior of all Your people, come to me. Fill my heart with Your love and joy. Keep my mind and heart and soul in peace and unity with You and Your people. I love You, Lord. In Your name I pray. Amen

"Breath and Hope"
A BLAST FROM THE WORD
BY SANDRA RHYNES
“Breath and Hope”
Job 27:3-4
3 As long as my breath is in me, And the breath of God in my nostrils, 4 My lips will not speak wickedness, Nor my tongue utter deceit.
Despair is such an ugly word, yet, we have all been there. All of us have at one time or another been deep in despair. Sometime so deep that we can’t find our way out, we feel like a dark PIT has engulfed us and we can’t see the top, all we can see is the bottom, because that is where we are. STOP and LISTEN…..there IS a way out!!! His name is JESUS CHRIST!!
Job found this out while he was scraping his sores with pieces of pottery. His friends left him and his wife wanted to. He was in despair and alone. Did you know how you act in the PIT is what gets you out of the PIT. You can stay down there and roll around in the miry PIT and continue to say, “Poor me” or you can go to Jesus and pray, keep reading your BIBLE and keep going to CHURCH and keep PRAISING and WORSHIPING Him and be able to get OUT!!! Oh, you can say, “Well you have never been in my shoes,” YES, I have. You don’t really want to die, you just want out of the PIT! I promise you--- if you do these things---you WILL get out of that old stinky PIT. As long as there is the BREATH of GOD is in your body---there is HOPE. PRAISE the LORD of HOST.
Lord and Savior, help me to run to You, and run from satan. I know satan wants me to stay in the pit of darkness and despair. I know satan means to kill me if he can. I speak to this darkness and despair in Your name, the mighty name of JESUS to flee from me. I stand on Your Promises to never leave me nor forsake me. Give me strength and courage. I take my HOPE in You, LORD and I accept YOUR PLAN for MY LIFE. As long as You are with me I am not alone. You are everywhere present. Amen and Amen

"What's On Your Mind?"
A BLAST FROM THE WORD
BY SANDRA RHYNES
“What’s On Your Mind?”
Psalms 42:1
As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God.
When I read in the Old Testament about David, the phrase comes to my mind about him being a man after God’s own heart. Did you ever wonder why, because he always prayed to the Lord. No matter what happened or how David felt---David loved God. David loved God with all his soul, mind and strength. In this same passage of scripture in verse 3, David is very distraught. He says, “My tears have been my food day and night.” Have you ever felt like that? Sure you have, so have I. Even though you are in the middle of sorrow and trouble---our souls we must “pant” after the Lord. We must make Jesus first in our lives. It takes effort to make Him first. You might say He is first, but, what is on your mind when you first get out of bed every morning. What keeps you awake when you go to bed at night? What do you hunger and thirst after? How can we expect God to answer our prayers when we do not heed His Word? Seek opportunities to know your God and Savior more and more. We must make time for Him everyday---no matter what!
Jesus, my Savior, Jesus, my Lord, I long for more of You. When I close my eyes I see a deer bending over a crystal clear brook---so thirsty—just panting and drinking the water. I see that now and my soul pants for You the same way. I love You, Lord I pray to stay in Your Word that You have provided for me. Give me understanding according to Your Word. Amen

“Win In 2010”
Proverbs 11:30
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.
Everybody wants to be a winner. They want to win in sports, win in life, win-win-win! No one wants to be called a looser. And everyone wants to be wise. I have heard it said that the way to know if a person is really saved is to be a fruit inspector. I will tell you what I had rather be---a fruit spreader. In Galatians it talks about the Fruit of The Spirit. Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, kindness, faith, meekness and temperance. Let’s be fruit spreaders, we can spread all of these. Lets be winners. When you spread the love of Christ around-you win souls. How many souls do you want to take to heaven with you? Let’s be a tree of life and be real winners for Jesus.
Lord Jesus, I praise and worship You and You alone. Make me be a fruit spreader. By the Rapture or by the grave, we are winners either way. Make me a blessing to others and a soul winner. As Solomon prayed for wisdom, I do as well. Give me wisdom for Your Glory. Amen
